On the Mediterranean coast, isolated residential power generation systems are an optimal solution to the poor coverage of the general electricity grid. In addition, implementing an AC-Coupling system, such as this one located on the roof of a tourist home in Les Rotes de Dénia (Alicante) guarantees high efficiency and lower conversion losses due to the possibility of directly consuming the energy generated during the day.
Specifically, the system installed in this residential favors the reduction of cost of the components, facilitates the scaling and the increase of the generation capacity. In fact, this system provides a generation power: 9.57 kWp, that is, about 1,450 hours of energy potential and a maximum annual generation of 13,900 kWh.
